We’ve officially heard from POC American Fusion Buffet & Sushi, the restaurant we first reported was replacing Greengrill Rodizio, that they are aiming for January opening in 2014. Much of the information from that previous post was correct in terms of background and food options.
This will be the first Mega Buffet location in the Tri-state area for this Miami-based chain. The menu will mix of foods from Asia and Europe with “modern American influences”. The culinary creations are from the minds of their two chefs, Executive Sushi Chef Kevin Z (Nobu, Sushi Samba) and Chef Benjamin Huselton (David Burke). Restaurant patrons who choose not to buffet, can order from a separate à la carte menu.
The 13,000 square foot restaurant has a seating capacity of 400. They will be open seven days for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Lunch will be $13.69 per person and weekend brunch $17.99 per person. Dinner prices vary for weeknights (Mon-Thurs) for $24.99 per person with weekends (Fri-Sun) for $27.99 per person.
